Privacy policy

Short, because there is not much to say. This is a static website that collects very little.

Updated 14 September 2026 3 min read Legal Independent research

cryptoetf.uk is a static publication. There is no account to create, no login, no newsletter signup and no form to submit. That removes most of the reasons a website collects personal data.

What we do not collect

  • We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or postal address.
  • We do not operate user accounts, logins or profiles.
  • We do not run advertising networks or behavioural advertising trackers on this site.
  • We do not sell, rent or share personal data with third parties, because we do not hold any.
  • We do not set marketing or profiling cookies.

Server logs

Like any website, the hosting server records standard technical information when a page is requested: the IP address making the request, the time, the page requested, the referring page and the browser user agent string. This is generated automatically by the web server and is used for security and for diagnosing faults. It is retained only for as long as needed for those purposes.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. It uses no analytics scripts, no tag managers and no third-party embeds that would set cookies on our behalf. Fonts are served from this domain rather than from a third-party font service, specifically so that loading a page here does not generate a request to another company.

Because we set no non-essential cookies, there is no consent banner. That is a deliberate design decision rather than an oversight.

Links to other sites

Pages on this site link to regulators, issuers, exchanges and other publishers. Some of those links are commercial and are marked where they appear. Once you follow a link, you are on another organisation's website and its privacy policy applies, not ours. We have no control over and no visibility into what those sites collect.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights over personal data an organisation holds about you, including rights of access, rectification and erasure. Since we do not collect or hold personal data about visitors beyond transient server logs, in practice there is normally nothing for us to provide or delete.

If you have a question about this, or believe we hold data about you, write to contact@cryptoetf.uk and we will respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this site works in a way that affects data collection, we will update this page and change the date below. This policy was last updated on 14 September 2026.
